Cubatron (in a robot voice)

This is the cubatron– a huge light sculpture that I saw at Coachella a couple of years ago and dragged my roommate to to see if it was as cool as I remember. It was on the waterfront in Scottsdale, which is basically a canal with fancy landscaping, overpriced stores and terrible jazz musicians.  It would have been nice if they had it on some grass to sit and look at, but no. Oh Scottsdale, you’re always what lets me down.  Nevertheless, it was still kind of cool.
